James Doerr

Born and raised in Lisle, Illinois, James is a lifelong resident of DuPage County. He went to high school at Benet Academy and graduated from Illinois Benedictine College. James went to the State of Michigan for law school graduating from Thomas M. Cooley Law School located in Lansing, Michigan.
James got his start with a busy DUI law firm in Wheaton, Illinois. He has been concentrating in the practice of Criminal, DUI and Traffic Law since 1997. He has operated his own practice as well as working cooperatively with other lawyers in a law firm setting. In addition to attending regular Continuing Legal Education classes, James has also become certified in the administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests by successfully completing training for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing.
James is very committed to his clients and does his best to minimize the impact that the criminal justice system has upon his clients.
Outside of the practice of law James enjoys rugby, fishing and motor sports.
